CURRENT ISSUE: Public Space
What is public space and how should we use it? And how do we actually use it?
- Blood, Sweat, and Shopping (November 2004): A look at sweatshops around the world, child labor, and - our favorite topic - consumerism. Also Buy Nothing Day information. (If you missed Buy Nothing Day, why not buy nothing today?)
- Composting (September 2004): Information on composting kitchen scraps and compost toilets.
- Smoking (May 2004): The first of our printed issues, with a nice color cover! We held a portrait-making event on May 29 & 30 to raise awareness of the 47 Taiwanese people who die EVERY DAY from smoking.
- Media (April 2004): This is our "Anniversary issue" with unique handmade covers.
- Energy (March 2004): Published in advance of our Summer Solstice Solar Picnic. (Includes plan for solar cooker.)
- Just a Few Questions... (February 2004)
- Hearththeearth (December 2003): We hand-stamped all 500 covers using a Taiphoon-made woodcut.
- Your Money or Your Life (October-November 2003)
- Water (September 2003)
- Creative Marathon (July 2003): We held a 24-hour Creative Marathon for this issue.
- Rooftop Revolution (June 2003): Our most popular issue!
- Waste (May 2003)
- War (April 2003): Some people objected to our anti-war content...
- Peace (February 2003): Single-page, double-sided first "issue" printed in conjunction with several pro-peace demonstrations around Taipei.
